Reading List & Document Library
Member Reading List
“Communists should set an example in study; at all times they should be pupils of the masses as well as their teachers.”
– Mao Zedong
While study alone will not change the world & defeat the oppressive forces arrayed against us, it does serve to guide our actions & turn our thoughts towards the cause. As such, members are encouraged to be well read not only in Marxist theory, but also history, science, philosophy, & even fiction in order to better understand the task before us.
The following is a short list of some of our previous membership readings that are provided to expand your understanding on those issues directly related to the cause (we assume you to have Marx, Lenin, & Mao on your own lists):
- “When Sunflowers Bloomed Red” by R. Alton Lee and Steven Cox.
- “Spartacus” by Howard Fast
- “Socialism Betrayed: Behind the Collapse of the Soviet Union” by Roger Keenan & Thomas Kenny
- “My People Shall Live” by Leila Khaled
- “Super Imperialism” by Michael Hudson
- “Curriculum of the Basic Principles of Marxism-Leninism Part 1“. Translated by Luna Oi.
Flyers & Pamphlets
We have a number of documents that can be printed out & posted to raise awareness of the cause (& our existence). We will be updating this library frequently in order to adapt to changing events & material conditions. Feel free to use modify them for your own usage using our style guide.
Proposed Legislation
Our members have written a number of legislative proposals for submission to state legislatures or activist groups concerning a number of subjects. We have also assembled a number of model laws or constitutional amendments to be put in place after we achieve liberation.
We do this in order to gain practice for governing ourselves outside of capitalist influence & to foster informed debate among anti-capitalists. If you have an idea for a policy proposal we would love to include it in the discussion.
A formal association proposal for submission to the leadership of National Activist Organizations.
A proposal for redistributing abandoned property for community use for submission to local leaders.
Organizational Guides
These are documents written by members pertaining to the theory of organizing Anti-Capitalist groups in a democratic & efficient way.
They also may concern practical guides to organizing & planning demonstrations written by members experienced in those matters in order to provide a way to advance our cause.
A proposed organizational guide for Anti-Capitalist groups to arrange themselves at the national level.
A guide to using material analysis to set tangible goals in revolutionary activities.
A method for planning effective demonstrations & tracking progress.
Tabling Information
We have gathered an assortment of literature that may be useful for educating the masses, including materials outlining “fascism”, de-escalation & de-arrest techniques, & classic texts in Anti-Capitalist theory.
Law Enforcement Manuals
It is useful to study your opponents methods in order to better defeat them. Here we provide a range of manuals created by Law Enforcement so that you can be better prepared for things like questioning & investigations.
Please note that these are provided as an educational exercise, rather than a statement of any intent. While we do not condone criminal activities, we recognize that many actions of resistance against oppression may appear to outsiders as criminal acts.
